Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as Member Services Representative. As a Member Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and assisting them with their financial needs. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
Ability to Commute: Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 (Required)

Responsibilities

Assist members with various financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
Process loan applications and provide information on loan products and services
Perform loan origination tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures
Provide excellent customer service by addressing member inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
Maintain accurate member records and update information as needed
Promote financial products and services to meet member needs and goals
Utilize cash management skills to handle cash transactions accurately
Build strong relationships with members to enhance their overall banking experience

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a banking or financial institution preferred
Strong math skills, including proficiency in basic math and retail math
Knowledge of loan processing and origination procedures
Familiarity with cash management practices
Excellent customer relationship management skills
Proficient in 10-key typing for accurate data entry

Experience

Cash handling: 1 year (Preferred)
Banking: 1 year (Preferred)
Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
Credit union experience is a plus. Familiarity with the Portico system is preferred.
